E-sports go online
In the 1990s where games started to benefit from the internet it
was mostly focused on PC. Games started
to be established on being a team game where it include 16 players and it is
separated into 2 teams and they have to work together to accomplish the
objective on the game. Largest E-sport tournament that occurred at the time was
Nintendo world championship the tournament use to tour across the whole United
States. The people that were participating where put into an age category 11
and below, 11 till 18 then 18+. The prizes for the first place for each
category was 10,000$ and for the runner up 1000$. It was a lot of prize money
given for a video game at that time.
Rise of Global tournaments
In the year
2000 there was a lot of competitors happening for the gaming industry like
who will build the best game and whole will establish into putting the best
competitive game around. Plus companies use to not get a lot of people due to
having a lack of number of people playing their games or not being successful
not joining in the trend.

The years 2000+ games E-sports have grown companies around the
world started acknowledging its presence. The numbers of viewers and players
have risen up so much. There were about
10 tournaments that happened in the year 2000 and the prize pool for one of
these tournaments reached around 1 million dollars for some casual games. The
gaming organizers were founded on that day like Major League gaming, Intel
Extreme masters and world cyber games.
On that period there was a peak happening on television E-sport channel in
South Korea about a famous strategy game called StarCraft that have been

Video game design
The experience of being able to play the game should be competitive
from the beginning. The most successful E-sports games have a is very well
designed it help teams navigate through the game being able to pull of
strategies finding the enemies weak point and how well the team is synergized
all that matters on E-sports. A nice design games started to implement is
Spectating mode is watching live streamed games in the game and some of the
tournaments you need to pay around 1.99$ or 2.99$ to watch the tournament in
game. If spectators don’t wish to watch the games from the game itself they can
go to twitch because 99% of the tournament matches are streamed from
there. Local Area Network has been put
in the game where there is barely any lag and with really high quality. LAN tournaments are usually held for a really big
tournament where players across the world meet in a specific country and go
play. Some people preform really well online because they are not that
experienced with playing LAN and
vis versa for other players and teams. And for these games they have placed a
lot of servers around the country so people from Europe play to the servers
closer to them not the ones in the United States or Asia they will have a lot
of lag that will make the gameplay unplayable. So for every country they
started establishing servers even in the United Arab Emirates we have our own
servers located in Dubai.
Most of the
E-sports team has some sponsors and a paid salary for their career so now it is
considered for being a professional gamer as a job. Team sponsorship usually
covers everything for the team trip expenses, hotels, food and supplies for
their PC. E-sports has ethics and every professional need to abide by these rules and disclaimer happening it
won’t be tolerated and it could cause the player to be removed
immediately from the tournament or the
team. For example when a team wins usually then the end the game with saying
GG WP it stands for good game well played.

There has been a serious issue when they found out one of the
players was fixing matches for profit Azubu frost was fined 30,000$ for
cheating. And there was a Dota player
that he was throwing away games as in losing just to collect 322$ from bets he
was suspended into joining recent tournaments. Players have been taking gaming
so seriously there have been problems that have been occurring in Korea and
some other countries where they have been playing around 18 hours per day. For
sponsored teams in their contract players need to have sufficient sleep and eat
well so they have a healthy mind and a healthy body they encourage them to do
Physical exercises. new rules for the upcoming 2015 season, including the
adoption of minimum salaries for professional players, requiring contracts and
allowing players to stream individually for additional player revenue
